Entrepreneurs are defined as immigrants with the intention and ability to establish or purchase a business in Canada, which business must make a significant contribution to the economy and create or continue one or more jobs in Canada, not including that of the Entrepreneur or his family. The Entrepreneur is admitted on the condition that these requirements are met within two years of landing and is expected to meet regularly with an immigration officer to monitor compliance with the terms and conditions.
